What do you all do for your kids on Easter? I'm going tonight to get the boys stuff for their Easter Baskets. I want to avoid getting too much candy...we still have leftovers from Christmas and Valentines Day. I've got a few ideas, but wanted to check with all my blog moms to get some even better ideas!
What do you put in your kids Easter Baskets?
Do you have any fun Easter traditions?

I haven't had the pleasure of filling Easter baskets yet. But, I had a great conversation in line with the lady in front of me, at Target. She has 3 boys and said that every year she fills their baskets with a new swimsuit, towel, and fun pool toys! I thought that was a great idea!
Movies & pjs are usually staples for my kids' baskets. I'm with you on the candy...we just don't need another reason to have it hanging around the house so I'm going to take it easy there. Let me know what you end up with. I'm going out tomorrow to get stuff.
This is my first year, and I'm skipping the food since Macie isn't on solids yet:)...I got new spring p.j.'s, a bunny boardbook, and a new fisher price toy.
Ok, don't know why it didn't post before....we always did kites, cool bubble blowers/makers, jump ropes/skip ropes, books, coupons for activities with mom/dad,games, etc. Now it's on to prizes for the annual adult Easter egg hunt; you kids never REALLY grow up. I love keeping up with all you girls, your words bless me more than you know! Mrs. Patterson
I usually don't do much. This year Syd got a basket for her bike and Ty got a golf bag ($4) with all the stuff included. Lydia gets lots of kisses from her momma.
My parents always gave us a new toy and some fun candy in the shape of Easter eggs. When we got older we got clothes...my favorite jelly beans at Easter are the Sweet Tart ones. They are so yummy!
